I was having the same issue, where some of my yahoo emails would appear for a moment then
totally go blank. I read through the the comments and couldn't find a solution. Since others who recreated the account had no success, I didn't bother to try. But I found a solution that worked for me.
I moved the blank email(s) to another folder and was then able to read it. However, 2 emails are created;
a blank one and a readable one. And if need be, you are then able to move the readable one back to the inbox, and at this point it remains readable. Though it may sound a bit tedious, it really isn't. And it works.
