Block an entire area code?

I keep getting SPAM phone calls from the same area code as my phone. How can I block those and still get calls from actual contacts in that area code? Oh, the phone is a Samsung A52

Put the number on block in the settings of the phone app or use DND

Depends on the filtering abilities of your caller app.
My LG phones have the option for filter phone numbers by
- exact match
- starts with
- ends with
- contains
This allows me to do the filtering you are looking for by using the "starts with" and the first 6 digits of my phone number.

Unfortunately, not many phones have the native option to block numbers using wildcard characters. There might be some 3rd party apps like Truecaller that can help, but I've also seen posts about how Truecaller can also cause other glitches in the phone.
