Blocking Group Texts

So a buddy of mine included me in a group text and now I'm getting never ending texts from people I don't know. I told my friend to remove me, but I'm still getting them. I also unchecked the option in MMS for group conversations, but still getting them. Other than kicking my friend's arse, any suggestions, apps?

I don't think it's possible. Trust me, I know what you're talking about, it's really annoying! I still have the same question as you. I'm hoping the 4.3 update can do something about this...

I read somewhere that sending #exit to the group gets you out of the group. I haven't tested this yet though.
