Blown away

I have the Moto Z Play and it does have the best battery life out there. I run it hard all day and go to bed at night with about 60% left. It is freaking amazing.

Agreed, but not 16 hours unless not really using the device besides looking at the display.

Hey.. Guys always exaggerate size and length.... LOL

Wow. I am totally blown away by this phone. Not what I expected. Came from a note 7, S7 edge, HTC 10, M9 etc.
It feels great in your hand, love the second screen. Audio is phenomenal. I always thought the IR on Lg is not that good but I easily got s range of 30 feet.
Add to this a removable battery.
Easily the best phone out there.
What would you say is the best feature overall?

....If it's the camera, I don't want to know (yes I do). The one on my G4 is by far the best of any Android I've had, so if it's better than that....

To me it is...the wide angle front and back cameras. So much more useful. Normally I hate selfies, but the wide angle selfie is like someone holding the camera for you.
and maybe how fast the fingerprint scanner works.

How are you finding the brightness compared to the N7? I've read that it's not as bright and other reports that it's about the same brightness but not as crisp.

Personally....I FAR prefer this to my N7 and I had every note created. No more stupid curved edges. No more stupid glass backs. This thing is light as well. The screen isn't as saturated but even after an hour I am used to it. AND....this phone is much smoother, much faster, has no lag and the wife speed is definitely faster than I had on my Sprint N7 or replacement S7 Edge.

I'm not blown away by the V20 but it is a good phone. Anyone thinking it was going to be pound for pound replacement for the Note 7, is going to be disappointed. The V20 has the same cool color temperature as most LG phones. I wish more OEMs would allw the color temperature options like Samsung does.

The camera is good, really good but I find trailing behind the 7 Plus and S7 Edge in low light performance.
Battery life is so/so. For a phone pushing that many pixels and at that screen size, using an LCD panel, it should have been no less than 3500mah.

What are you getting for battery life cause I'm getting 14 hours easy..

For basic writing and even a little sketching how can you say it won't work? You can clearly see that there is very minimal lag in the video. It's not an S Pen but anyone can see that the thing works.

Like I said, from personal experience, it's nothing like it is on the video. It's not that accurate and it won't work that well on a smaller screen. On a tablet it kiiiinda works, but I found my handwriting to be closer to what it is in real life if I just used the magnification tool in S-Notes to write 'big' with a foam-tip stylus than with that active one. Added accuracy is VERY marginal, and for the price, it's just not worth it (and the smaller the screen, the smaller the accuracy gap between a passive stylus and this).

I'm afraid I have to agree . . . from personal experience with the V20 . . . that the Stilo will absolutely not work as anything more than highlighting or making check marks. For handwriting or drawing it is useless on the V20.

Well I was wrong then. I just noticed that he uses it to navigate on all of his reviews so naturally I thought it would work regardless of the device. There may not be a suitable replacement for the pen functionality.

I have those two as well. Getting the Note 3 at Christmas 2013 was an eye-opener; great device!. It was also the first time I installed a tempered glass screen protector on a smartphone. It's quite sad how the Note 7 situation ended. I'm stating that as though it's ancient history and even as I look at the Note7 box waiting to be shipped-back. I bought a V10 last year when Samsung sold their Note 5 without a micro SD slot and was quite happy with the V10 which I still think of as 'quirky yet powerful'.

Best wishes to you.

Wow! Exact same here. Bought the Note 3 and 4. Skipped the 5 due to changes I didn't like and went with the V10. My Note 7 box and phone are also on my dresser awaiting return (how long does this really take?!) and I have had my V20 for ten days. Loving it!

This was brought up on this thread so I wanted to inform everyone:

Adonit Jot Dash 2
Got it today . . . IT WORKS!!! I am one happy camper.
Used OneNote, no problem
Used Bamboo, no problem
Used Inkredible, no problem
Used the V20 quick note, no problem

Palm rejection works
Pressure sensitivity works

NO skipping!!! Slightly offset, but nothing major.

Feels nice in the hand. A little light, but again, nothing to complain about. Mildly expensive.
But I would have paid a LOT more for one that works as well as this does.

I sent back the Stilo . . . skipped like crazy. But I am VERY happy with this.!!!!

It is NOT spen quality. Nothing is!! So for those who have been Note users it will take some adjusting. But it works fine on the V20.

I like the V20 and I am very happy with it. However, when the Note 8 comes out I'm definitely going back.

Hmm I'm thinking about this too now. Recently got the s7 edge but once going to work the other day it got VERY hot even through the otterbox case . It's OK now but that's never good.. is it quicker than the s7edge?

You can change the display to your preference in calibration settings. The cold display is only that way if you want it to be.
