Blue light blinking since firmware update

Ever since I got the firmware update to version 4.1.2 my quick glance feature is no longer working and instead a blue led blinks. Unlocking the screen makes the light stop blinking but there is no message. The light only starts blinking again when I turn off the device a reach out to my phone like when I want to use the quick glance feature.
