I don't get all this white will get dirty... I've had many white devices...not a mark on them, not sure where you guys take your phones lol

The iPhone has white paint with a sheet of glass over it. That's the front and back covers. Glass doesn't stain. The GS3 has white plastic, which does discolor and stain and get nasty. Blue for me.

Thanks. I don't own and never have owned an iphone, so I didn't know.

I would think the hypergloss finish they put on this phone over the polycarbonate would protect it from any discoloration. Dont think it will "stain."

Anywho, I was totally sold on the blue originally, but now I'm not sure--the blue is starting to look abit purple to me. However, the guys at Engadget and here at AndoirdCentral seem to think blue is the sexier beast. I'll have to see them in person, but if I was just ordering blindly right now, I think I'd go with blue.

The blue may look purple because Samsung had neon purple lights everywhere or least several podcast have mentioned the neon purple lights as a white balance nightmare in trying to take pics of the device.

Oh yeah, forgot about the glass on iPhones, hehe. But still, I dont think the white will get dirty. The put a lot into the build of the GS3 and I highly doubt they would let something as simple as dirt ruin the entire sexiness of the phone.

The early white iPhone was plastic and held up well. A friend has one and still uses it daily (no protector).

Now that we know these beasts of a phone are coming our way, has anybody decided for sure what color they're getting? White-long term durability issues may arise, but white is always so classy and elegant. Blue-Not too many blue phones out there, it'd be a nice change of pace from all the black/white slabs out there. Plus instantly recognizable as an S3, mother of all phones. :)

Blue for sureif blue and white are the only choices but would prefer a black or gray if they were available.

Wish I could manage to see the Blue in person first. Maybe I'll preorder in my Sprint store so I can choose which I prefer when I go in.

Idk what to do now. ATT will have Red, but no 32 gb? I know about the microSD card, but give me a break. I would rather pay the extra $50 on the phone. Then give me the option for expansion.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727 on ATT LTE
