This is a system dump of the BlueStacks Alpha, released last night.
At it's face, it's nothing more than an App VM, but under the hood it's running full Android 2.3.4. But you won't know that unless you install ADW Launcher (or similar) using BlueStacks Cloud Connect.
Once installed and running, the BlueStacks system is fully accessible through standard ADB protocols, and is rooted by default.
