Bluetooth apparently disrupts the wifi signal. What's the workaround?

This is terribly annoying and I've been meaning to go through a couple prescribed troubleshooting steps one involving resetting the phone then sending it it to warranty dept if that doesn't work but I would rather not go through all that plus lg tech support never has taken me as particularly knowledgeable as much as people in forums so I wouldn't be surprised to find someone has an easy fix in here. Anyone? My phone is stock. It's been doing this from just about the beginning. Thanks

Is this only on your home wi-fi network, or on others too? If it's your home network, you could try logging into your router's settings (via your desktop browser) and changing the wifi channel. If your router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals, then try using the 5 GHz signal instead (since Bluetooth uses the 2.4 GHz band).
