Bluetooth doesn't pair correctly after Samsung Pay update

Two days ago, I received an update for Samsung Pay. Since then, my watch doesn't pair correctly with my LG V20. It shows the phone icon at the top of the screen as it would if running on the network, but the phone shows it's paired. I'm confused. Has anyone else experienced this. Please share or I'll have to call Samsung for an explanation or fix.
 
OK. Here's what you have to do after the Samsung Pay update. (It also seems to have fixed the Bluetooth conn problem.) In the Gear app Settings, you must re-register everything. Everything now works great.

I haven't had this issue yet..not that I know of, but what do you mean re-register in Gear App Settings?
