Bluetooth earpiece

I recently picked up a Galaxy S4. The Jawbone Era Bluetooth earpiece I have had for my past 2 phones and always worked great doesn't work on my Galaxy S4 without going thru google voice which doesn't understand me half the time. Can anybody suggest an earpiece that works well with the Galaxy S4?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Google Settings app, then tap Search & Now>Voice. Is Bluetooth Headset switched on? If so, turn it off. Now see if it keeps going through Google Search.

No, that didn't help. See if this makes sense, with my old phone when I pushed the button on the earpiece, the "earpiece voice" would ask me for a command. I would say "call Jim Smith mobile 1" and it would do that without a problem. Now, the "phone voice/google" asks me for a command and then it asks me a couple other questions and usually doesn't understand one of my answers and disconnects. I think it is a compatibility issue with my earpiece and phone. I probably have to buy a new earpiece. I'm asking if anybody has a earpiece that they know works smoothly with the Galaxy s4 so I don't go buy another one and have the same problem.
