I have a new 2012 Honda CRV with Bluetooth. My wife has a HTC Incredible and the phone system took hwer whole address book in and made it accessible. My GNex once paired only gave some contacts and of those almost none of them were worthwhile.

I have 3 Email accounts going into my phone, one vanilla GMail and two apps accounts. Could it be that since the addresses and contacts are pulled from GMail that they aren't syncing?

Is there a way to make these show up?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Sometimes systems like that will only pick up contacts that exist directly on the phone, rather than synced through Gmail/Google Contacts.

You could go to Google Contacts, export your contacts to a CSV file (or other similar filetype), and then import them on your phone as 'local' contacts. Your car may pick them up then. You would have to go through the same procedure for any other contacts sources you have. Spreadsheet editors such as Microsoft Excel are very helpful for ensuring the data exported from such sources has been put in the correct columns.

For the contacts that did go through do you know which app they were on. I have an 2008 Lexus and all the contacts went through but it took 2 tries. Does the Honda system allow you to have 2 profiles. Could there be a conflict trying to sync two phones?
