Bluetooth issue

Hey guys. I've noticed a weird Bluetooth issue with my G4. I have it connected to my vehicle via Bluetooth and like to listen to podcasts while I drive. (my current favorite podcast is The Leviathan Chronicles) . So I'm listening to my podcast and let's say I stop my vehicle for whatever reason and turn my car off. When I return to the car and start it up, instead of my podcast starting up again it opens the music player and plays the demo songs that LG has placed on the phone. Any way to fix this?

There is a setting in the podcast app I use that starts the app upon Bluetooth connectivity with cars. Check the settings in the podcast app you're using to see if it's similar. The app I use is pod kicker.
