Bluetooth Issues after 5.0.2

Is there a way to get the build number or other identifying information without having to install the update? Now that I know I can get back to a working tablet by installing the HK1 build, it's just a question of dealing with that process...but I'd like to avoid it if the update I'm currently downloading is 5.0.2 again. :)

It's calling itself 5.0.2.

Build LRX22G.P900UEU1COH2

I'm located in Canada, but my SM-P900 was shipped here from a US dealer. I guess they know where "home" is, even when after they've moved. :-)

I hope this information is useful to those on this thread. You've been my hope for many weeks that somehow this would get resolved. I've just done the installation, but my Logitech kb is at home. With any luck, it should work fine when I get home tonight!

All best wishes!

The update has not reached Oregon yet.

Edited post to add that I got it Aug 22, 2015. It was not automatic. I had to go to Software Updates and tell it to download.

BTW, the post-installation notes specifically say that this release addresses the issues with BT keyboards.

updated without incident. keyboard works.

Not bad Samsung. Only took you 7 weeks to put back in some bluetooth code that was already present in a previous version. It gives me great confidence in this company.:-!

And they fixed more then Bluetooth keyboards. My bt hearing aid adaptor works again. Yay, music and video without taking off hearing aids!

Nice, now it's just waiting for Canadian and European UK and Continental versions (and who knows how many else). Good luck with it already, US-citizens!

FWIW, here is my experience - recap and update of today's efforts:
1. Installed 5.0.2 and lost bluetooth connection to AirTurn BT105 pedals
2. Back-revved to 4.4.2 via the steps listed by genkibrady in this thread and got connectivity back
3. Discovered that the 4.4.2 version in those instructions worked, BUT that OS took me off the update path for US devices.
4. Installed the version that has "NK1" in the build number. I installed the Cellular South file, since the others were apparently for other countries.
5. Verified that bluetooth continued to work and that the update was available. It downloaded (1070.6MB) but I did not install it, since I didn't want to lose bluetooth again.
6. I read in the forum that an update was out. I checked to see if I had it, but the pending update was preventing further checks for updates. I went ahead and let the 5.0.2 install, and like before, it broke bluetooth. HOWEVER, once it finished restarting and updating apps, a new update was available. This update was 324.35MB and the notes on the update screen listed "bluetooth connectivity" as something addressed in the update. I went ahead and installed it, let the device reboot, and found that all my bluetooth connections were deleted. I re-paired the BT105 pedals and...

IT WORKS!

OS version showing: still 5.0.2
Build number: LRX22G.P900UEU1COH2.

Am I happy? Ecstatic!
Do I want to rail on Samsung for breaking such a basic functionality and then taking so long to fix it? Yes... But I guess I'll just let it be. It's working, and that's really all that counts.

The big plus here is that I now have the skills and confidence to locate, download, and install different versions of the OS should the need arise in the future.

The update for the US with the last three OH2 characters is available for download on SamMobile.com under Firmware. The Cellular South US version is the first one listed for the SM-P900 model.

Since I started this awful thread I should post that the update has indeed fixed both the Logitech mouse and keyboard for me as well! It took them longer than expected however it seems that everything is working great so that is really what matters in the long run.

I can confirm the update is here and it is real.. I am in KC, MO.. Thanks guys for telling me. I would have been sitting at home waiting if I didn't check this forum this morning. Thanks for all the updating and responses too before the update. yippee

So happy to hear it's back to working! Although, I managed to not bring my keyboard with me to work today. Guess I'll just have to wait until after work. Is everyone having good luck with the update?
Do we know if it fixed the bluetooth mouse issue as well?
Are there any other fixes worth noting?
It didn't fix the issue with my generic Bluetooth mouse

Okay, haven't had a chance to try a mouse just yet. Also, loving the fact that my keyboard is working again. I do have one question, as I guess it's been so long since I've used this keyboard, I can't remember how to lock the on-screen keyboard from coming onto the screen. I get an icon at the bottom right of the screen every so often, but not consistently and I can't seem to remember how to fully lock it while connected to bluetooth keyboard, or if I even can. If anyone could help with this, I appreciate it.

Actually, Samsung server doesn't care where your tablet is, it only looks for your product code: XAR, ex: SM-P9000ZKVXAR is the black, 32Gb, sold in US.
If you send to service in Canada, and the main board has to be changed, they won't take it because it's sold in US, they cannot program serial number to the main board of a tablet sold in US.
You have to send to a service center located in US where they can program serial to an identical mainboard but sold in US only. Galaxy Pro in all regions are identical tablets but product codes are different. There is no problem if users in Canana flash the firmware for US, I flash back from Korean version OG6 to US version OH2 with ease.

I can confirm the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse works again after the update as well as my Logitech keyboard cover. Another happy camper.

I have just updated (the second time as I was the one in this thread that told y'all how to flash back to Kitkat) to what Samsung is calling 5,0,2 My PageFlip Cicada is working no problem.
I can also confirm that Samsung doesn't care where you are, I bought my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 in New York and just updated the firmware here in Paris with the infamous OHO build.

Yet another Happy Camper!
