Bluetooth Issues after 5.0.2

And now we have glitches with Samsung Mail! As soon as i turn on the bluetooth keyboard, and touch Reply, Reply All or Forward, it pops up a mail blank WITHOUT the addressees or subject line...gone back to Outlook app for the time being...

Meanwhile, a stunning (and welcome) side effect. The 5.0.2 upgrade fixed the loathsome virtual keyboard lag in the Galaxy Note Pro so now you almost don't need Bluetooth anyway for casual typing.

It took Logitech some two months to reply there would be no support their side on my question, because our ultrathin cover keyboards were not designed for Android.
But today Dutch build LRX22G.P00XXI0BOI1 arrived OTA, with Status SE for Android SEPF_SM_P9005.0.2-1_0035 and that wørkz!!!
/me is back to BT typing

Looks like a lot of people on this string had this issue, and most had it resolved...I had the same issue. I got a Zagg keyboard/case for my Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2, which I took to Best Buy to see if the Geek Squad could help. They tried a bunch of stuff, and finally told me "it must be broken." So I bought a Logitech universal keyboard (probably like the one you have), thinking the Zagg must be broken. When that didn't work either, I figured the problem must be with my Pro12. Since I've taken pretty good care of the hardware, my hunch was it was a s/w issue. I went back to Best Buy and had their Samsung rep (not Geek Squad - no offense to those guys - they're speciality is prob laptops/desktops) analyze it. The Samsung guy downloaded some Samsung/Google software that he said would be an update, and the issue went away! If you are still struggling with this issue, I recommend doing that. (I returned the Logitech keyboard because I didn't need two BT keyboards, but my guess is that they both would work now.) Hope that helps.

My convoy with Samsung:

Info: Please wait for a Samsung Agent to respond.
info: You are now chatting with 'Anil V'. The reference number for this chat is 4297271494. There will be a brief survey at the end of our chat to share feedback on my performance today.

Anil V: Hi, thank you for contacting Samsung Technical Support. How may I help you today?
Walter: I have the same problem millions all over the world have. Your 5.x.x update have prevented my Samsung keyboard from connecting to my tablet. Is there a fix?
Anil V: Hi, Walter!
Anil V: I should inform you that as of now there is no fix for the issue you are referring to. However, our development support team is working on the issue and the issue may get resolved with the upcoming updates on the devices.
Anil V: I can understand how inconvenient it would be.
Walter: Is there a time line for the fix?
Anil V: We are unable to speculate when this software revision might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion. Should this become available, it will be posted on our website in the Samsung Download Center or you will be informed by your service provider.
Anil V: Please feel free to check with us periodically for updates.
Walter: Will Samsung accept my return and refund the large amount I paid for the keyboard/book cover?
Anil V: You can check with our order support team for those details as we in live chat have information only on trouble shooting steps of the device.
Anil V: Shall I provide you the contact details of our order support team?
Walter: Can you help me roll back to 4.x.x?
Anil V: I am sorry, Walter. Once the device is updated to the latest version of Android we do not have option to revert back to previous version of Android even after performing Factory Reset.
Anil V: We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Walter: Thanks.
Anil V: Is there anything else that I can assist you with?
Anil V: Not to rush you, are we still connected on the chat?
Walter: A non Samsung keyboard connects but doesn't fix my book cover. How is it the Samsung keyboard doesn't work?
Anil V: I can understand how you feel that way, Walter. As we have some compatible issues we are trying our best to fix the issue as soon as possible.
Walter: Now I'm done.
Anil V: It was my pleasure assisting you.
Anil V: Have a great night, Walter!

I am using a logitech K760 keyboard with Danish layout. Danish letters comes accross nicely when connecting to my Ipad, But when connecting to my Samsung S7 phone, the layout is US-layout with no scandinavian letters possible. This is of course annoing.

Not the topic for that, other problem, other OS version.
It might be, that you forgot to set the physical keyboard layout (appears only with connected keyboard) to Danish, that was the usual solution for your problem in Android 5.n.n. Else, it's a dedicated Mac only keyboard, there will be a lot of trying involved. And don't count on Logitech customerservice for that matter, 'Mac' stops all other support, as iOS did to my Danish keyboard's support.
Best open a special topic for it.

My brand new (June 20) SAMSUNG TabS2 bluetooth keyboard quit responding to my brand new Tab S2 after the update. S**t

hmmm, sorry to read that problems like this still occur.
But you posted to a NotePro 12.2 specific niche in Androidcentral, MomOfFive. That is a different tab with different architecture and hence even seemingly similar issues may have different causes in the OS-upgrades.
Assistance here you may only get by accident, by someone who uses both tablets ..
Better look for some (identical) TabS2 topic.

Our initial problem was solved by Samsumg in Aug/Sep 2015, moment depending on OS-region.
I suppose you may consider this topic closed.

Version 5.02 supposedly fixes that issue. That version fixed my Logitech bluetooth problem. Is that your version?

I just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro to the 5.0.2. Logitech Bluetooth keyboard will not work. I found some posts on this site with the same issue and it appears there is a fix; one I saw was to use the Korean update? Where would I find the link for this download. I really appreciate the help.

2016 there is no need for a Korean update anymore.
About 1 year ago I already got my European LRX22G.P900_5.0.2-1_0051 update OTA, the American updates came in just over a week earlier, just after the Canadian version.

You'll find everything about that later than the Korean suggestion in the discussion.

Thank you for responding. The only thing that worked was going back into Settings, About Device, Auto updates and rerunning the update. I am typing this with my blue tooth logitech keyboard - thank goodness. I was afraid I was going to have to buy another keyboard like some of the previous posters. I'll stop hyperventilating.

Please don't get me wrong. I don't have the intent to not be polite or downgrade some company but I am just trying to make a statement based on my opinion.

First they do something that work and when enough people are on board and addicted to that functionality they begin to screw things because they are only interested to cash big amounts of money and nothing else.

They know they can not do it otherwise but at first offering a working product. That's the bite. And after they just shorten the string.

What money? Your money. And it is you paying in acceptance for all this s**t to happen in your life that drains you of energy and precious time that otherwise you will be using it to do something more useful for your life instead of surfing forums for hours and hours with no result.

You don't have to believe a word of what I said. Just think with your brain.

When this happens, those that broke the backwards compatibility should immediately offer a refund or free send a working correspondent device.

Is this kind of life you are willing to pay for, therefore maintain and feed this "pay again for a new" status for the next future?
