Bluetooth loses all paired devices

This just started happening to me too!! :'( It's happened twice within a few days. Super annoying...

And me! Nexus 5x happens every few weeks, lost all paired devices after a reboot this morning. Very frustrating. A few of the devices were set up as 'trusted' to unlock the phone, don't think it was an issue for me before this feature was released.

Adding my experience as another data point. I have a Nexus 5X, and a couple months ago, I started experiencing this problem. It's happened a total of 3 times so far (the latest being about 15 minutes ago). I was hoping someone had heard from Google on why this is happening, but it doesn't seem like it.

EDIT: I found this shortly after posting. This is an answer, of sorts, but doesn't strike me as very helpful: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/nexus/Mw6CP7yifcs

Every two weeks or so, I notice that my bluetooth settings have been reset and the three devices I typically have paired are no longer showing.

When I turn on my bluetooth earphone I typically get an audio message from the headset "Power on - Phone one connected". But every so often I only get the Power On message. When I check in my Bluetooth settings on the phone, I find that there are no devices paired with my phone.

Every time this occurs, I need to go through the pairing process in order to be able to use those devices again.

I thought it had to do with the monthly security updates, but I can now confirm that is happens randomly (as far as I can tell).

I'm on a 6P. I have Bluetooth issues all the time, but this is the first time it wiped the list out. My battery died last night, and when my Pebble stopped connecting, I noticed the problem.

Yip in the past 2 months I have lost all my bluetooth items. It happens from time to time after I restart my device. Any workaround?

I have a Nexus 6p with these issues. I also have my phone set to Pattern Unlock required at reboot.

What I notice is about once a week, I'd get out of my car (2013 Mazda3) and my phone would be asking me for my pattern because it rebooted and my bluetooth settings would all be wiped. So I'd re-pair all the devices and start from scratch. I'm on stock Android and this problem happened before and after Nougat. I've done factory resets several times to see if this would help and it has not.

This seems to happen mostly when I'm in my vehicle but I think one of my other home devices might have reset my 6p a time or two. Harder to isolate at home because it could be one of several devices (Marshall BT speakers, Cobra PhoneLynx, or my Lenovo T450s).

I posted my devices because maybe we can see a correlation with other users experiencing the same issue.

No idea why it's happening and I haven't been able to pinpoint it. It happens randomly and not with any specific device.

Ever since I recieved 7.0 (Nougat), I have not experienced this problem again..
