Hello p7 friends,
I having issues with my Bluetooth not seeing my cars Bluetooth.
I will go to connect but it will not see the cars Bluetooth. I have a Ford Escape 2013 I've been able to connect all other phones and devices to the car. Could there be something that I'm missing with the connections? What VPN be an issue if it's connected?

Did you try to turn off the VPN reboot the phone and then try to connect to the car Bluetooth? I know when I was trying Google VPN and Android auto started on my car. It was blocked. I had to exclude Android Auto on the VPN to get it to work

Is this a factory-installed head unit, or aftermarket?

Car stereos from that time often could only connect via Bluetooth for phone calls, not streaming audio -- but you're not even able to connect for phone calls?

Also see if this helps: squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6828-clear-your-android-device-s-bluetooth-cache

The Dec. security update may help you out . There is a BT fix for BT connecting to older vehicles.

After restarting phone, walking away from the issue, reading manual about Bluetooth. Everything is connected and working.

Thank you all helping me out.

This isn't the bluetooth problem per se, it is the Android 13 update. You can't clear the cache, as it is grayed out, and cache is stuck at 14.34KB. Numerous threads on the subject. Samsung and Android suck
