I updated the EC05 with Odin and the Bonsai installation recognized it as EC05, but when I check the version on the phone says EB13. What's up with that?

Just loaded up this rom and i love it with one reservation. Everything is working with the exception of USB Mass Storage Mode. "Connect USB Storage" does nothing for me.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I had that same issue but while it was plugged in I could see my drive in my computer I ejected it and the second time i plugged it in it took.

good call, USB storage isnt working properly, nothing happens when I click connect usb storage... gona flash bonsai's untouched EC05 to see if this problem keeps popping up in EC05 by itself or if its a bonzai problem.

I would also like to know where the default wallpaper is.

More importantly, how do I get the clock back in the top bar?

No dice on mass storage stilll

I tried setting the phone to USB Debug mode and then turning on mass storage, still no luck.

diskmgmt.msc doesn't see the device at all on my machine even though mass storage claims to be on under debug mode.

Glad I'm not alone on this, but I'd love to see this working. Besides this one issue the ROM has been silky smooth. I've never seen YouTube and VEVO run so well before. Really been impressed with this so far.

Can we flash the EC05 modem via Odin and stay on an EB13 ROM? I currently switch between ACE and Baked Snack 2.1...

I can't completely confirm this 100% but I did try it once when I was attempting to flash the "leaked" EC05 stock ROM from Bonsai. Anyways..

I flashed the EC05 modem, and had issues so I went back to CWM to flash ACE or something else to get up and going again and when I tried ACE it aborted installation at the modem install part of the script. I'm guessing because ACE was trying to push the EB 13 modem when I had the EC05 modem and it caused an error and aborted the installation. Anyways I couldn't flash any ROMs at that point and ended up using Odin to get out of it because I had no CWM backups at that time to restore to and I'm not sure if that would of even made a difference with the modem being flashed.

Bottom line, if you want to be a "test dummy" then go ahead but I would stick with EB13 modem on EB13 ROMs until you hear different.

Use the debugging mode or change the USB port

I don't know what the difference is but after flashing the EC05 with Odin my phone still says EB13 and I'm not sure if that's what it supposed to say or not?!

Got home and my Mass Storage finally started working. I literally tried every bit of voodoo magic throughout the day to get it working and i said "I'll give it one more go"... haha finally worked.

Would've been cool to have my tunes on my phone today but oh well.

Only the baseband version should change when you flash the EC05 modem. Build number will still remain as whatever the ROM builder has put in there
