One question, i'm still running CyanMobile X and every time i reboot it says on the screen (CyanMobile is upgrading, starting applications) do you know why it's doing this? Nothing upgrades?

took a lot of different installs and mucking around to notice, but it looks like most ics and later roms do that after clearing dalek-cache. Logcat shows it rebuilding .
I'd guess you have an init.d script which forces dalek scan.
(Yeah, I'm somewhat of a Whovian, and dalek sounds cooler than dalvik anyway.)

I switched to my backup of MiRaGe, installed your New_Era bootanimation. When i reboot it starts with the green android guy (i think his name is andy) , anyway, it starts with him with the word android underneath him, then the first part of your animation plays, the( gold gears with android underneath) by that time phone is already booted up?

Any ideas, or is it like the same deal with the Virgin Mobile splash screen?

Well, either way, but i would like to see your whole bootanimation, i guess i should be happy that it boots up

PS ..... probably won't be posting for about 2 weeks, after today I'll have gone over my 2.5 gig limit My 3g isn't very good as it is, once i'm throttled back, i'd be lucky to get a page to even load.

Well, it is slightly over 400 frames long. It is playing at 12 frames per second. You could change the frame rate to 3 times that. Use Bootanimation Factory. Unzip animation, open up the factory, select to create a bootanimation, select the animation, edit frame rate, then create.
If your having a hard time, let me know and I will see if I can get it up to a speed that will allow you to see all of it.
It plays well with Jellybean and KitKat due to the longer bootup time.

I think it would work if i could delete the green android guy at the beginning, but that looks like more trouble than it's worth .
