ok, fastboot devices detects me.

damn that sucks. It's literally the same thing, you just can't see it.

I think you have two choices here:

1) You can bring your greyed out phone to Sprint and be like, why is my phone acting like this and they'll probably hand you a refurb

or

2) flash up to something more recent and we'll try again.. I"m just running out of things to try..

It's bad that fastboot detects you because if the RUU worked, boot would of successfully loaded your system and your phone would be sitting normally loaded (just not being able to see it).

I'm not sure what Sprint can do.

Yeah for sure, it'll bring you back, you may have to re-flash .76 if what you're doing is going to be through fastboot (after you run the RUU).

Not good, I'm not sure what the guy who tried to get me S-ON was trying to accomplish, he wanted me to simlock with a cid.txt file. Anyways it didn't work, but didn't mess me up any further either.

Looks like Im going to grey screen my evo again, and take in tomorrow and ask stupid.

Well my newest update, (a bit unethical), I pulled the battery during radio flashing, and bricked it. Phone won't turn on and LED light won't come on while plugged in. Getting a replacement in the mail. I think I'm going to get insurance though, I feel dirty.

I wouldn't feel that bad, in all honesty it may of been a hardware problem.
