Bought from Google, has Verizon system apps

Then you must be livid because your Nexus 6P does have this stuff installed.
I suggest you return your 6P immediately on principal alone.

You guys win... I was just having a moment.

I'm Still bitter about the Pixel Pricepoint.

You guys are paying a premium price for an unlocked phone purchased OUTSIDE of a Verizon store.... how can you be ok with this?

I'd be livid based on principal alone.

If my Nexus 6P that I bought from Google came with T mobile Bloatware (system app or not, enabled or not is irrelevant), I'd be upset. The fact that the Pixel is almost double the price would make it even worse.

Don't confuse apps with system packages, which will show up in that list. These do nothing, launch any processes or take up any appreciable system resources. Google included them simply as a courtesy so the apps that they load when then phone is on their network work properly.

No need to get worked up over this.

Makes sense. Thanks!!

This thread is about some Verizon related system apps that every pixel has. You have to enable show system to see them.

These aren't apps you'll see in your launcher.

I just checked in settings, and all I see is the Verizon log in app.

Weird mines a Google Store Canada bought and I live in Canada with these system apps as well...
