Bought my wife a note 9 today

It offers you what ever you set it to do.

I set it up and handed it to my wife

Waiting on the paper back book to be delivered.

Said be the book index telling me you need what it will do, step by be step instructions.

Wandered into Best Buy based on your post... they offered me a $450.00 gift card that could not be used towards the Note 9 purchase and $I50.00 in trade for my S8+... & I'd still hafta pay off the 13 months on the contract...

So I wandered right back out...

Just get it directly from Samsung.

Got the Samsung Note 9 in depth book in today
Didn't want the download for 9.99.
Wanted the book.
It's 431 pages long.

OL has the book and said, this is really a nice paper back book. Said she is going to learn a lot from the book.

1st thing she wants to learn is things about the pen.

Ok... absolutely NOT asking this to be a jerk... I'm genuinely curious.

Why would you/anyone pay $10 for a book when all the information in this book is out there free to find... easily searchable on YouTube if nothing else?

I grant you, not having the book I can't say with 100% certainty that everything in it is out there on the internet... but I'm 99% sure that it is.

I admit I'm tempted, but having done a ton of research, having had every Note other than the 7... I'd be beyond ticked off were I to buy this only to find A) I already knew about X or B) Didn't know X but then was able to find out about X for free somewhere on the internet.

The book has a index to show you what is in the book and what page it's on.
You open the book and have step. By step on how to do something.
Makes it much easier to learn what all you can do with a Note 9.
You got a 1000.00 phone, and 18.88 is to much to pay for a printed book.
My wife has 6 yrs of college.
2 degrees
She said this is a very informative and nice book.

It's worth every penny we paid for it.

But if you want to do hard things and try to remember everything you watched, I ain't standing in your way.
Do it your way.
18.88 might break some folks with a 1000.00 phone anyway.

Somebody else I know that got a note 9 bought the book before me.
And was nice enough to tell me about the book.

I am great ful that I was turned on to the book.
The note 9 is my OL phone.
Not mine.

Are you saying that is why the app needs all those permissions?

The Best Buy sale gives you nothing unless you have a phone to trade?

They gave me the same 450.00 and applied it to the price of the phone.

I asked three different salestrons... all three said the gift card was not applicable to the Note 9 purchase... so, somehow you lucked out...

And you can disable Bixby completely and anything else you choose.

Maybe before any update, depending what you used Dusabler for, might need to roll back changes first. Sand goes for BxActions - though I had no issue installing beta 1 and 2 of Pie. And they have months to get ready. I'd expect early February more than January unless 31st?
