Brand new and loving my Optimus - just wondering if there's a way without rooting to save files/apps to the sd card.

If so, could you please point me in the right direction...

Thanks

yeah if you are running android 2.2
you can go to
settings>applications>manage applications> select the app you want to move, and there is a button that asks you if you want to move the app to SD

As I look at this thread I'm thinking about redundant apps on my Optimus S. Since I purchased Titanium backup Pro is there any reason to keep apps like "Uninstaller" and "App 2 SD"? They work well, but I figure, why double up... Do any apps do these tasks better or are most of them just interfaces to Android? Thanks!

Using basic Froyo, you have an unistaller, so even having titanium backup would be technically doubling up, but if there is no use for another app, then why hold on to it.

If you ever want it again, just download it, or for local options, back it up with titanium backup, then uninstall it.

It is really up to the user. I guess all apps are interfaces with android, some simply give you more options or do something more efficient/better.
