Brave Browser

Hello - I use Braver browser on my Pixel 6. I sometimes hit Google News in the browser, but when I'm logged into my Google account and hit a link it Brave, it takes me immediately takes me into the Google News app. I don't like this because the Google News app doesn't block ads like Brave, so I get lots of ads. Is there some way I can fix this? Thanks for any help.

I love Brave and use it on my Pixel 5! I don't think I've found a way to circumvent what you're asking, though. Brave does a masterful job of blocking ads. Hopefully someone on here will chime in with an answer or suggestion soon!

Settings - > apps - > default apps - > opening links - > Google News - > turn off "open supported links"
