brightness problem in my nexus 4 :((

my problem is that the display r not giving me the highest level of brightness
( when I put the brightness on the highest level it give me just 40% or
less !! ) I tried many apps but it's not working I hope it's software problem so that in the next updates it will
be repaired

Any solutions plzzz

Try the widget and just toggle brightness.

The auto brightness is working but it's too dim when I go outside I can't see anything in the display

I would ether order a replacement if its been like that since you got it or back everything up and do a factory reset

Are you covering the ambient light sensor? It is one of the two small dots located at the very top-left corner of the screen; you may have to tip the phone in various directions in order to see them.

If you are using a screen protector which covers the sensor, well, don't do that!

The sensors are not covered... Are two sensors in left side but are not covered... I tryed auto brightness, manually brightness... I reset to factory settings... And nothing happened... ((

I have the same problem. I am trying a full charge in case it was some automatic thing to save battery as it was low but no joy.
