Broken LCD screen and not able to unlock

Please help I feel physically sick!
I drop my phone and the screen has completely gone :(
I have spoke to o2 with no help surprise surprise
what I am trying to do is recover all me contacts and more importantly my family pictures and memories via kies
however because my screen is completely blank I cant unlock the phone to do this
please can somebody anybody help

If you sync'ed contacts with Google then that can be restored or taken from your Google account. Regarding the photos, those are lost unless you saved the photos to the external sd card, which you can remove and insert into another device, or can turn the screen on to accept the various prompts to sync the device.
 
I've seen a post that says that you can go to the Samsung website and there's a 'Find my phone' link that'll allow you to unlock your phone. (Haven't seen it myself; this is just what I read.)

Once you get the phone unlocked you'll be able to use the Kies software on your PC to backup your contacts, SMS/MMS, pictures/videos, call logs and TouchWiz settings.
