New galaxy tab owner here. All is well so far. One question though, is there a way to disable the default mobile view in the browser?

Thanks in advance

Go to browser... type in the navigation bar about:debug go to settings menu now a debug setting is there. You can change UI setting

I would install "Dolphin For Pad" - gives you dolphin with tabs at the top. And the built in browser is awful, slow and can't display a lot of stuff properly. The best browsers for the Tab:

1. Firefox Beta (however, it doesn't have Flash) https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...org.mozilla.firefox_beta&hl=en&token=bZdUPd28

2. Opera Mobile (NOT Opera Mini) https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...s/details?id=com.opera.browser&token=btfmKUuf
It scores as high on HTML5 as a desktop browser

3. Dolphin for Pad (not perfect but plays flash really well) https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ils?id=com.dolphin.browser.pad&token=vWlYyfOm

You probably want to update to Dolphin HD yourself, its the full release rather than Dolphin for Pad which has not had an update since July 2011
