OK, I like stock myself but after mm update it seemed it was always up on my battery list. Anyone else experience this?

I went away from chrome from being a memory hog and fell in love with the stock browsers quick launch page and controls at the bottom of the page easily accessible.

But I like my battery too. Any reason it would be using more battery?

Hi

There have been MANY reports of MM causing these issues. If a Cache Partition Wipe wont' help, unfortunately a Full Factory Reset is in order, and should fix your issues. I personally do a FFR after EVERY update from samsung. If you chose that option, I would make sure to back up all your personal data first.

Hope this helps!

Chris

I use the stock browser only because you can download adblock on it. I'm not having battery issues, but I'm also still stuck on lollipop. (Damn carriers!)

From my ATT Note 5 paired with my larger Asus Zenwatch 2

No battery issues here.
Long-time Chrome user.
Won't use it now.
Samsung's browser is hands-down faster, has a reader mode and offers ad-blocking.
A home run for me.

Fingerprint login on websites is all the reason I need for using stock browser.

I did all that when updated. Actually wiped first, then updated on a clean version. Then after updating to mm, did a full factory reset then also.

Yup, used chrome forever. Now I wouldn't for anything. Adfast, quicker, fingerprint. No brainer

If you use Samsung browser on the Note 5, and Chrome on the desktop, does data/history sync well? I've been using Chrome on mobile and desktop for awhile, so not sure how an "ummatched" combination would fare.

My most preferred browser is Dolphin but the Stock Browser is my very close 2nd. Both are fast, small footprint, and efficient. I use Roboform so the Dolphin browser's built-in Roboform add-on is the deal clincher for me.

I'm so used to chrome, I'm not sure if I can make the switch.

Use chrome for my laptop, desktop, phones and other handheld devices, the sync and the layout is so familiar that I'm not sure if I can make the switch. I'll try it in a few days I think.

I like stock browser except for the case New links can't be opened in background. That's an important feature for me. Chrome does it awesome.

Best and faster browser for me is OPERA...at least to my note 5.
Much more convenient and scrolling down the pages faster than any other.
Second choice is Chrome.

If there was a way to increase the font size I would try the stock browser.
