* Downloaded and started Flash VPN.
* Browsing in private mode on Firefox.
* Use Duck go site for searches.

Can I be tracked?

This is a good article to read through regarding what a VPN service can and can't provide you:
https://lifehacker.com/the-biggest-misconceptions-about-vpns-1794038237
As for Android VPN apps, this is really relevant:
https://arstechnica.com/security/20...pns-cant-be-trusted-to-make-users-more-secure
... and as referred to in that first article, you really, really need to confirm your VPN isn't leaking your IP address. Check it periodically and especially if you change locales (as that involves different servers):
https://www.ghacks.net/2016/11/28/find-out-if-your-vpn-leaks-your-ip-address/

But in general did i get the steps right?

Let us know the validity of your account through Flash VPN, did you do a leak test yet?

Also, check your email address too:

Regarding Private Mode in Firefox, keep in mind Private Mode, Incognito (Chrome), or whichever similar modes in other browsers, their functionality only applies to the device your using. When in Private Mode your browser isn't saving things like cookies, trackers, caches, web history, but this is only for the mobile device you're using. If someone takes a look at your browser, they have to work much, much harder to extract any useful info about your browser usage -- but this involves them having physical access to your device. If you regularly share your mobile device with someone else or others than using Private Mode might be applicable. But if you don't, it's not as necessary as you're only protecting yourself from yourself.
Private Mode does NOT prevent your ISP (WiFi) or your carrier (cellular) from logging, tracking, and monitoring your web browsing. Again, it only applies to your browser on your device.
