bt transfer failed

I'm having trouble transferring via BT a pic to my Mac. The photo is on the sd card, both phone and mac are paired. and still I get "transfer failed".
Can someone help please?

When I take a picture the photos are stored in a folder on the SD card here; /mnt/extSdCard/DCIM/camera. These files will not transfer via bluetooth. But when I move the files to the folder called photo or rename the camera folder, they transfer fine. Why is the happening? How do I change where the camera puts the photos? If I delete the "camera" folder and take a picture, it just creates another one. I shouldn't have to move files around just to send them with BT right?

Ok if no one can answer my question, can someone at least confirm if you can or cannot transfer a file via BT from your sd card folder DCIM/camera to a computer?

Why are you bothering with BT. If you want to transfer pics quickly and easily between any device regardless if it is a mac, pc, tablet, Android, ios, whatever, then just downlad the App 'Photo Transfer'

There is also a neat little app called Bump, you might like. Normally you tap two phones together to transfer the images, but now computers can do it too. Just tap your phone against the keyboard. I haven't tried the keyboard tap yet.

You can also use dropbox. There is an option to automatically upload all pictures to your dropbox.

I just want to know if I'm supposed to be able to send a file from that folder thats all. dont want to download an app if I dont need to. thanks for the suggestions.
