BT5, aptx?

So with ditching the headphone jack do you think Google will get the wallet out and get the licenses to get high quality Bluetooth?

Looking at S8 and V30 they both seem to be up to date.

Oreo supports Apt-X and BT5, though there isn't any BT5 hardware that I am aware of yet, and there are conflicting reports (here vs here) about BT audio benefits of BT5. Apt X support , on the other hand, will be great to have.

Now this is something I'm interested in. As far as I can tell, my S8+ doesn't support that and I almost exclusively listen to music through Bluetooth.

I know. I would buy headphones that supported it in a heartbeat if my phone supported it.
