Autocorrect doesn't work in the stock browser. Speech to text doesn't work properly in the browser either.

Earlier I said "this is just a test" and it came out "joseph justin seth". Just now I tried it again (but said "period" at the end and it posted "Answers jessica terry". It's just posting names and a few random words like Terry. Am I the only one with this problem? Here's a video of it:

Galaxy Nexus Bug - YouTube

These are the only two bugs that I've noticed so far that bother me.
Also having problems this voice to text ..poor understanding even on very slow speach.. So bad on an ebay page I just type..Any fix other getting the Apple 4s ? :(

BUG : Cannot receive picture text messages... It shows a paper clip next to the message before opening but I cannot view or download it

update... solved the problem.. have the phone on a company line and the plan was erroneously modified to disable picture and video texts.. every thing works well now..

Still would like to see group texting added

Is anyone else having serious issues with the Voice Dialer? First I tried it without bluetooth in a quiet room and every single time I tried to tell it to dial a certain contact it got it HORRIBLY wrong.

I tried it again with bluetooth and it was another big fail.

The voice to text feature works fairly well, so I am not sure why the Voice Dialer is so horrible.

Anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

Not only do commands get horribly misunderstood through the bluetooth, but the volume of the "speak now" voice is extremely low. I can hardly hear it (especially when there's background noise), and it obviously doesn't hear me well. I thought it was just an incompatible bluetooth, but I'm now up to my 3rd new one and having the same problem.

This is a strange bug i noticed while using the official twitter app. The options key is still visible on the screen and bypasses the screen lock.
Im running stock 4.0.2 and my uptime is around 80 hours.
Im sure a restart will fix the issue just thought it was worth pointing out.
Also as im typing this my onscreen keyboard isnt reacting. Not changing fir capitals or numbers.

Edit: After a reboot the problem persists and it is happening with other apps too
I tried using the pattern lock to see if it was an actual security issue, and it did not unlock the screen. Still its odd.

I've seen it discussed on other boards (mainly XDA), but has anyone here experienced the "grayed out signal bars" issue on their GN (losing all data connectivity)? It happens to me a couple of times a day. If I'm somewhere where I have wifi, toggling wifi usually fixes it, but toggling airplane mode has never fixed it for me. Anyone have any luck with any permanent fixes?

Many of the GNEX users are seeing a disruption to the WiFi sleep policy. When streaming music on Wifi (and policy set to never sleep when phone sleeps), wifi shuts off when phone goes to sleep (screen shuts off). Definitely a bug that should be fixed in the 4.03 update.....hopefully.

I searched the Galaxy Nexus forums, but did not see anything pertaining this topic.

I am having a problem with my Galaxy Nexus automatically connecting to my car's bluetooth when I turn on the car.

Bluetooth is enabled on the Nexus, and the car and phone are paired, and work fine sometimes. This morning I started the car and watched as the phone did not connect, so I shut the car off, shut the phone off and did a battery pull to restart the phone. When it restarted I started the car and the phone and car connected automatically as it should.

Seems like a common issue.I found this discussion on XDA:

[Q] Bluetooth not working on Galaxy Nexus - xda-developers

Long-pressing the power button and toggling airplane mode on and off again solves the problem easier than a full restart. I don't have a lot of apps installed, and the Galaxy Nexus is not rooted, running stock everything on 4.02.

Its been happening on mine since day one. I've been trying to pin point it and i fell like it happens when you are on the finge between 3g and 4g. I have also had issues when switching from wifi to 3g. It seems like the phone or Vz network does a horrendous job trying to switch radios or authenticating. Does anyone know what the real problem is? phone hardware? network ?

My phone consistantly goes mute mid conversation and the person on the other line can no longer hear me. I have to hang up and call back. I'm on my second device and the new one does the same thing. Also sometimes when i need to use the dial pad in call for promts it does not recognize what I'm entering. My Charge did the same.

Is this phone still the best smartphone out there? Or has it been trash for everyone?

Looking to upgrade in the next few weeks.. any opinions would be great.

RAZR?

yep happens to me too. usually seems to happen when I move to a new location ie home - work - home

My issues that I can not find a solution for.

1.) Contacts under phone are doubled. It lists Mom twice, or Bob twice, cant find a way to fix this.
2.) To delete a contact I used to be able to long press a contact and select delete, that no longer works. If I go to people and delete it, it wipes out both of my contacts in my list, i just want to get rid of one.

RAZR?

I would wait until the Razr Maxx comes out before making any decisions. Should be out in a few days.

I thought the Razr original was too wide to hold comfortably in my hand, but if you have bigger hands that may not be an issue for you. The Razr Maxx is thicker with a more powerful battery.

I prefer the GNex screen - it is HD compared to the Razr and Razr Maxx qHD. The Razr has a better radio and better speaker/mic, though but no removable battery.

GNex doesn't have a removable SD card but it has ICS, which I like a lot. The Razr will get ICS soon so that may not be a factor for much longer. Motoblur is another issue for some. I didn't play around with the Razr in the store long enough to come to a conclusion about whether Motoblur was a positive or a negative. Motocast is a Motorola app that is on the Razr that some people really like, but again, I don't have any experience with it so I can't comment on whether I would like it or not.

I really didn't like the Rezound. It was thick, heavy and ugly. The LCD screen looked washed out compared to the AMOLED screens of the GNex and Razr and the LCD screen is absolutely worthless outside.

For me the choice would be between the Razr Maxx and the GNex. I would still pick the GNex over the Razr Maxx simply because of the width of the Razr.

Not sure if this has been asked before but here is my issue:

the other day i had to call my cable company (thats another problem) but knowing that i was going to be on hold for about a week i decided to use my speaker phone. proceeded to press the appropriate numbers just to not talk to a real person. i was waiting to listen to the prompts and my screen timed out. here is the problem. how do i turn my screen back on without hanging up the call???? the only button that turned the screen back on also disconnected the call. that was awesome after being on hold for twenty minutes already and then having to call back....anybody having this issue???

I push the power button on mine to get the screen back.
