I skipped the 22U last year but I ordered a 23U so I should have it in a couple weeks. Might as well get a 23U.

I totally agree. The S23 Ultra will be available in two weeks, right? I'd recommend going that route, too.

If you order one, it says you'll have it by 2/17, which is when you could buy it in the store. In my experience, they generally have it to you a couple days before that.

Hmm...I was just comparing the S21 Ultra with the S23 Ultra specs side-by-side on another website. Although the S21 Ultra doesn't have a 200mp camera or built-in stylus, in many cases it has better features than this new one. Looks like I'll be keeping my S21U for at least another year. I could get an S23 Ultra 512GB or 256GB (same price?!) for $820 after trade-in off the Samsung website.

$820.00 doesn't seem like that good of a price to me considering last year one could get the S22 Ultra for like 400-500 after trade in. Sometimes even less. But, that's just me.

Ended up canceling my s23 ultra pre-order and decided to stick with my s21 ultra for another year. Want my next phone upgrade to feel like an upgrade.

So I purchased a used S21 plus 256gb. I was rocking a Pixel 7 Pro since it was released. I missed Samsung and everything else i have is Samsung, tablet, earbuds and Smart watch.I thought I would keep this phone till next year but I decided to order a TMobile S23 Ultra because they were giving $1k for this phone and I only paid $325 for it. I place my order on Thursday for the phantom black 512gb. I was shocked to find that it has shipped and will be at my home hopefully on Monday.
Which is perfect cause I'm going to Costa Rico on Friday so i know I will get some great photos.

I read the details of that offer on T-Mobile. You have to sign up for the Magenta Max plan for 24 months which, in my case, is $96/mo higher than the plan I have with them now. That's $2,304 higher over that time.

Have been reading this thread and I am more confused than ever now. Shocker. No secret that I love taking pics and I've posted quite a few on here of local sunrises/sunsets and so on. I take a lot of pics of family and at church with my 21 Ultra and was thinking I should go to the 23 Ultra based on what I am hearing about the camera alone. I have a nice Nikon DSLR that I never take out any longer. So dang confusing.

This is why I went and bought a refurb S22U. I'm not paying for a plan that is overpriced and I don't really use many of the features in the plan.

So, as of this morning my s23u has shipped. The strangest thing though is that I'm leaving the 22 because of battery life and in order to get all day battery I have to turn off 5g and dumb down the refresh. While I was not on 5g or 120hz my battery life was crazy yesterday about half of it was on wifi. Makes me question that 1275 I just spent.

I went and jumped in the deep end and ordered the s21ultra 512gb Tuesday, should recieve in mail tomorrow since it's being shipped about 120 miles from here. I thought about keeping my s21ultra but getting around 800.00 to 900.00 off a 1379.00 phone was a no brainer.

The S23 Ultra is the S22 Ultra with a newer processor and a 200 megapixel camera. That's it. So you're basically buying the same phone twice. Personally, I'm ready for Samsung to stop making cameras and start making phones again.

Floss is calling this phone "Galactus 2.0." Lol. Galactus was nickname for the S22 Ultra.

Flossy and his hilarious nicknames!
