Buyers Remorse. Anyone starting to get it?

My advice for those with "Buyers remorse" or keep changing your mind...Do NOT cancel your pre-order. If you realize in another day or so after you cancel your pre-order then you are to the back of the line. Just keep your pre-order open. You can cancel until the day it ships, and even then they have a generous return policy. You will kick yourself if you lose your pre-order spot then realized you really wanted the phone after all.

I tried to read the article, but the smell of BS was too much after a few paragraphs. Surprisingly, the comments were, for the most part, less biased and could see the bull, more than the article.

I didn't even read it. The site loaded and I saw it was "Apple Insider" -- I knew instantly it was going to be super biased and the author trying to justify his Apple products to himself. I closed it right away.

I pre ordered the pixel 2 after I watched the launch on youtube. I've been using windows phone since 2010, but my uncle gave me his old galaxy s6 edge to try a few months ago, and I have to admit I do like the os. the pixel2 is the first android phone I have bought and I'm looking forward to getting it.

You will love it for sure :P.

I had buyers remorse. I cancelled my trade in and order of A Moto X4 and instead moved the trade in over to a new Pixel 2 XL, A phone with which I will not have buyers remorse.

I've been holding out for a week and finally I hit the buy now button for the pixel 2 XL black 64GB model no buyer's remorse here very excited can't wait to get it I buy every high end phone that works on Sprint and like my first pixel XL I know I will absolutely love this one I'm using an S8 plus now which will soon be my backup phone

I was so excited for my Pixel 2 XL, especially coming from a 5X. But seeing all the issues with the V30 display has me freaked out. I'm not willing to pay $850 for something with a sketchy panel, so I'm cancelling my pre-order. If the issues turn out to be overblown then maybe I'll revisit it.

how bout regular Pixel 2? No display issue and less expensive.

No buyer's remorse for me.

Using it today, again proves why Pixel is the king. Software is buttery smooth without jank, stutters. Camera is on another level and along with the latest security updates, OS updates couldn't be more happier. Will be my main android daily driver, I do use other android phones when they get released but Pixel it's always my go to Android device.

Nope. I'm happy as a pig in sauerkraut. And now that I've got the phone in hand and I can't jinx my delivery by coming clean, I can say that my ship date actually did get moved up. I ordered on 10/4 and got a 10/18 ship date with delivery between 10/21 and 10/23. I guess it pays to be no more than a 3-hour drive away from any one of Google's warehouses.

Where's that? I'm literally 20 minutes from Google headquarters

Honestly even with the blue tint, I would still choose Pixel 2. The software and camera are worth it. Typing my on Pixel 2, very happy Pixel owner.

Yes, currently have buyer's remorse.

My Pixel 2XL is being delivered Friday; however, 2 issues so far:

1) Customer service - So far not good.
I selected overnight shipping, they charged me overnight, but shipped ground. I contacted customer service twice and got the following:
  1. email - we show overnight shipping, so no refund (pretty close to verbatim but FedEx and the order on Google's own site show ground 3 day)
  2. Phone call - After 15 min hold to investigate customer service said "we see the error, but you aren't being charged overnight, but we're not sure so escalating to higher support". (my credit card charge disagrees and level 2 for a $18 charge?)

2) Screen - LG POLED panel doesn't appear to be great. Google is charging Note 8 prices, and I was "hoping" for S8 / Note 8 screen quality - all reviews clearly state that isn't the case.

Return with no hassle

Finally saw the phone at a Verizon today. Looks great. No remorse at all. I don't care what reviewers say about the screen.
