Buying from Best Buy?

How did you get the in store option? I'm assuming you preordered in the store and not online? Still haven't heard anything about mine and nothing has changed online. No more pre ordering for me via bb

I went to the store and ordered mine there since I work right next door.

After 11 minutes on the phone and transferred to 3 different people I was told all bb s5's ship tomorrow and the dude told me I'll either receive it on sat or Mon and should get shipping info sent to me tomorrow as well so ready for something new!

Whats the point of preordering it? I doubt the stores will sell out. I should have just waited and purchased it at the store tomorrow. I feel like if you preorder it you get screwed.

You and I both!! I got caught up in the preorder hype and now I'm kinda regretting it since I'll be going to the store after I get my s5 to see if they have any gear fit in Stock lol

I definitely feel like I got screwed. Especially since the only reason I did it was because I wanted to use the $50 reserve rebate, which I couldn't even do since I ordered it online and you have to wait until the phone is activated before they'll email the gift card info. No more best buy pre-orders for me either. I hung up on Verizon when I remembered that I had reserved the gift card a few months back, when I should have just went ahead and placed my order and I would be getting my phone tomorrow.

Absolutely correct! It has so far been a nightmare with the pre-order from best buy! They will not ship until the release date and they have screwed up the order once already. Talked to a salesman at a local BB store and they don't expect any supply issues; nobody is asking about the phone (or so he says).

According to their customer service they aren't shipping phones until today and was told I should get an email today about shipping info. Hang in there guys!

I ordered from Best Buy as well and now wish I didn't. Today is the release day and I don't even know when my phone will come, no shipping information or anything. I checked another website this morning and if I ordered today i could have it here by tomorrow with 8.99 shipping. What was the point of ordering from best buy on March 22? This is the first time I pre-ordered a phone and it will be the last. Oh well another 4-5 days of waiting probably for me.

I tried doing this an hour ago. They cannot cancel the order. The rep from Best Buy said if you deny the package they will take it back and then cancel it that way. My only problem with this is that I do not think you have to sign for this package so she might be misinformed. This sucks, I am going away tomorrow and have a phone thats basically non-useable.

That's a bummer I wonder if you can call best buy customer care before they ship it and get it canceled. I know with att they got their s5 pre order yesterday. Idk why best buy can't do the same thing

I'd really like to travel back in time to 3/22/2014 and kick myself in the crotch for even thinking of preordering. Still nothing from bb and I could simply go in store and get it today. I have no idea when they will take the money for my preorder either and don't want a huge over draft fee for multiple days while they refund. So I'm stuck waiting. Seems like I won't be able to get the gear fit until next Thursday anyways. Happy Friday! Haha

I really think If you push the issue they'll cancel the pre order. It's kinda messed up how you promised to buy the phone in advance and yet someone can walk in to best buy and pick one up Before you ever see yours
