Buying two Nexus 7's, can I get both $25 onto one account?

Figured I'd ask here instead of waiting on the phone for 40 minutes from Google customer service. The reason is, I'm buying one for my Mom, and she does not need the Play Store credit, she won't use it, so I'd rather use it myself (since I buy lots of games and music).

I'm thinking the chances are low (it would have been nice if it came with some type of card with a code in the box--alas), but maybe someone here knows for sure.

From what I know the $25 can only go on one account. You could register both N7's on the same account but you would only get credit for one.

When we buy them online and don't choose as a gift, is there an easy way out of the box to get that second credit? I imagine the 2 I ordered will be under my account but I'll quickly change that to another account I have or my girls account. She is basically getting the 50$ credit for letting me get them.

Probably the only way for you to get both $25 credits is to make another account with a different credit card then register both N7's on its respective account.

I have a high resolution image of her as well, but I can't find a spoiler tab on these forums so I won't post it. PM me though if you want it.

I think you could register the 2nd to a second account for a day or so and gift yourself in your main account - the apps that you would like to get using the $25. Or set up an account for Mom and then gift yourself the apps you want.

If you want to then keep them on one account, factory wipe Mom's and set it up on the main account after you make the gifts and use the $25. Just make sure they don't ship them both on the same account, they will ask you when you buy them if you want to register them to your account.

Oh?! I had no idea you could "gift apps" to someone else! Hmm, but I don't know how to do that. I just went to the new Dark Knight Rises game app page, and it does not offer me the option to gift it, only to buy it with my credit card or google store credit.

I did a google search as well but could not find any answers as to how.
