By the love of God please answer this question

I searched and searched but received different results. I have Verizon, Unlimited Data, Moto X Pure Edition, and wondering about the Hotspot. I know my Foxfi doesn't work so would it charge Me if I turn it on? Yes or No?

Just figuring out if I should root the phone when it comes in.

You don't need to root it for the hotspot to work. It worked right outta box for me. I'm also unlimited.

the hotspot works without rooting your device. Just turn it and have at it. I also too have UDP with verizon.
