Bye Bye, Note 10+, hello iPhone Pro Max XL

Dude this has nothing to do with coverage. .the chipset is worse in the iPhone than it is in the note 10 with Qualcomm. It's a known fact the iPhones have reception issues with that intel chipset and it will be worse than he has now.

Oh no I agree it's worse then Qualcomm chips.. but for my area on Verizon it doesn't matter. Just being honest.

Such a stupid keynote. I watched it because my wife is still using an iphone 6 plus... she is in serious need of an upgrade. Lol

Big features in BOLD for the apple watch were Always On Display. Hahah

What was the big feature of the new Galaxy watches? Their under armour partnership? The  watch is the top selling smart watch ever.

Actually I traded in a iphone XS max for the note 10 plus and all I can say is where I live and work the reception of my XS max was far superior to this note 10 plus. I'm not interested in a debate about iphone vs android or what chipsets phones are using. I been in the phone game for years and always been a huge android supporter. I went iphone for a while for work purposes and honestly I didn't mind it. All I'm saying is my real world usage of of the note 10 plus when it comes to cellular reception has been nothing but a huge headache. Aside from the lack of reception, failed text messages not sending and dropped calls I think overall the note is an amazing device. Just doesn't work for me where I live and work. I'm not hear to bash samsung or the device but there is definitely a serious issue with it.
Be ready for even worse reception on the iPhone. They still have the Intel chipset that is causing reception issues. My note 10 plus gets much better reception than my xs max did. Sometimes the grass is not greener on the other side.

Yeah and you know every freaking Android OEM will be clamoring to copy it.

I kept expecting them to announce a mini pencil to justify calling it "Pro," but the camera certainly will be excellent. Just not $1099 for 64GB base model excellent.

But all in all, I think Apple is being very penny wise and pound foolish by not beefing up both the base storage and RAM of the Pro models. 64GB for a $1k+ phone is laughable, and they could do so much more with multitasking if they added more RAM. Ironically both are really cheap these days. Look at the retail price difference between the OP7 Pro 8GB RAM/128GB storage and the OP7 Pro with 12GB RAM/255GB (UFS 3) storage. It's $100 retail. That means it's likely $60 wholesale. For $60 per phone, they could have a base of 128GB and at least 6GB RAM. Their cost of materials is insanely low...

OH MY GOD. 64GB storage base model for $1,100. Wow, out right stealing. Oh HELL NO.

But it’s ok for Google to release 64gb base phones.

No bye to Note 10 from me but also ordering the new Apple goodness just like every year. Already offered the Series 5 Titanium (nothing comes close to Apple watch and I don't even want to argue). And going to pre order the smaller iPhone 11 pro

Gadget season in full effect !!!

Hi dad it’s your son I’d like a space black titanium series 5 k thanks bye.

I'm actually outside my return period and samsung pretends they have never heard of the issue when you contact them. They offer the typical fixes which I've tried with no luck. I'm just trading it in. My carrier offered 600 for trade in for the device which is what I paid for it after I traded my old device in for the note 10 plus.
That is a good option.

I am glad to see they're trying to step in the camera department. Love the wide lens -- the other stuff (like copying Google on "Night Sight") I will have to wait and see if it works like they say.

Didn't Google copy that first?

I love how people have to try hard to find fault with other operating systems.
Why not just enjoy what you choose and be happy we have choices to begin with?
Personally, I use both Android and iOS.

I have to say unless you actually have tried FaceID, there’s not much room for you to talk. If Samsung had anything like it I’d probably have kept my S10+. FaceID is far superior to Samsung’s facial recognition. The finger print scanner in the screen just wasn’t working for me.

It’s really the main reason why I moved back to the iPhone this year. With my line of work I’m always wearing gloves.

Samsung does make great phones but so does Apple.

I had both the iPhone X and iPhone XS Max, so yes, I know what I'm talking about. FaceID doesn't work in the car, it doesn't work when your phone is lying on your desk, nor does it work when I wear hats/sunglasses. Tell me how that is superior to a fps?

Clearly it’s an android site. Then explain why fandroids bring up apple more than an actual iPhone users.

Actually, you obviously have never visited MacRumors....Android is mentioned a lot and bad mouthed all the time on there.

I agree, it doesn't work for all those except hats. Mine worked when I had a hat on.

I own both Android and Apple phones. There are things Apple does better than Android and Android does better than Apple.

Apple has done an excellent job with parts of their ecosystem, especially imessages. It works seamlessly across all Apple devices. Interface between other Apple users with imessages is great and what keeps me using an Apple phone. Apple core software on mobile devices is polished. I didn't realize how much I loved iBooks until trying to read books on my new Tab S6. There are too many epub apps in the Google store and most of them just don't measure up to ibooks.

I think Apple's hardware and design is outdated and that's why I love Samsung devices. Android devices have pushed the envelope year after year with hardware and design. I love the customization of Android and the OS is just flatout powerful.

With all that being said, I absolutely love my Note 10+ but can't leave Apple because of imessages, my iPad Pro and other apps like ibooks.
