Bye bye thunderbolt community.

Sorry to hear that. Please keep us posted with any new problems you have with your new phone.

What? No. This is the Thunderbolt forum. Go to Rev or Charge forums if you want to read about their issues.

I am sick of waiting for this phone to function as it is supposed to.

Why do people have to post crap like this? Do they think that people will beg them not to do leave or change their phone? I say so long, ya wont' be missed with that attitude.

Ok, I'll bite. "Please! Please, don't leave! We need you around here to remind us of every little bug the phone has! We just LOVE hearing all the complaints! It really makes our day!" Cough...cough...I'm back in my right head now.

I think some people just love to complain, are really impatient and/or have not yet learned that no technology or device is perfect. They haven't been around long enough to look through marketing hype and expect that at least some of what they are told by the sales people just is not true. Probably be a lot less complaining if people lived in the land of reality rather than fantasy.

Usually when the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, it is either:

A. Astroturf
B. Painted
C. Right over a septic line
D. Is an optical illusion generated by sales and marketing people (which are the ones who build the septic lines in the first place).

I agree there is no need for a dramatic good bye. On the other hand there is no need for anything other then a goodbye and good luck from people who dont care.

It’s probably part of the narcissistic culture we now live where many feel the need to tweet or Facebook their every thought to the world. :(

I see no reason for the op to refrain from posting. It may help others decide. We're not cheerleaders are we? If not for mr2 I may have also gotten rid of my tb. I like it now though.

Yeah. Also pretty poor form to post a thread like this and then hedge with...

Fairly sure a charge is in my near future.

Good-byes should only be posted after activating the new phone and selling/trading/smashing/burning the old phone.

I wouldn't trade the TB for any of the Verizon phones currently on the market. A Bionic when it comes out, I might be down for, but outside of that the TB is the best phone available atm even with the downsides.

Good luck, and see you in a few weeks when you come back. ;)

Dude! Does your avatar sheep have a rocket pod attached to it?!?!? That's wicked!! :D

I just don't see what's so bad about the phone? Bugs, all phones have them. Battery life, this is android. compatibility with skype and netflix, blame verizon and htc.

If they create a phone that can scratch your ass and do your taxes, people would still complain. "Why does this only scratch my ass? This phone sucks"

Wait, the Thunderbolt doesn't do that? Dammit. At leaks it cooks me a delicious bass...

Congrats, Glad ya like it! Glad ya didnt get a yPhone
only thing I should say is I wouldnt have jumped ship so soon, if ya were patient you couldve been happy with the bolt too.

Dont get me wrong I didnt want to switch phones. I held out since release day and wanted to keep the bolt I just couldnt do it.

Some nice things about the charge so far:
Light and feelse great in your hand. I know the screen is the same size but this screen being amoled just seems bigger and more responsive by far.

Overall I enjoyed the thunderbolt but day by day it left more and more issues to add to the list.

Does the charge connect phone screen to external media player like computer projector? I've always wanted to be able to do presentations from my phone. It was supposed to then I heard the function was disabled? Seems.to me being able to connect to large video device would be a neat feature.

E. Grass is electrified.

I'll take options A-E in that order. lol
