I did a search. Apparently I am not very good at searching anymore. Lol...anyway...I ended up with about 537,000 threads, so I will just pose the question. Is a cache cleaning app worth the trouble? I know doing it app by app is tedious. Do we even need to? Are there any opinions, observations, and/or recommendations out there? Surely do appreciate it.

Not unless your having problems with a particular app its really not necessary....

I'm with Paul on this one. Caches are there so your phone doesn't have to re-download something, so you may actually be COSTING yourself performance by micromanaging the cache, just like the people who run automated task killers.

FroYo and Gingerbread (and beyond) are REALLY good at managing memory. Don't try to fight it unless you know you have a problem.
