2nd question first... Is it possible tp pull Yahoo's calender events into the exchange calendar? From the calendar app, I'll go to Menu / More / Calendars, then menu / add calendars, but the drop down arrow in the box that appears doesn't show my Yahoo calendar, only the gmail calendar. Also, rrom the home screen I'll go to Menu / Settings / Accounts & sync, and make sure my Yahoo account is active, but it doesn't show a calendar setting & I see no way to add the calendar.

Next, I have th ecalendar app on my main screen, and quiet often when I tap on it, it opens on a past date (such as Monday) instead of opening on todays date (Wednesday). Anyone else having this problem, or know of a ay to fix?

Thanks!
David

How are you connecting to your yahoo account?

You can't get a calendar via pop3 if that's what you're asking.

Typing in "yahoo imap" yields some results. Maybe you want to try to use IMAP with your yahoo account, that should get you the calendar.

I'm connecting as described in the original post. The corporate e-mail & calendar is via an exchange server, and doesn't give me an option for POP or IMAP, and I'm using the Yahoo Mail app from the market which also doesn't have an option for POP or IMAP. I assumed I could add the Yahoo calendar to the list of calendars that I want to be sync'd via the method above. I've searched the forums with no luck, I guess I'll have to do a "pure" Google search :-)

I use Yahoo! IMAP. I have still found it difficult to access my Yahoo! Calendar from my Android phone. Finally, I was able to get the app "Yahoo! for Android" to work for the Calendar. The secret is that, when the list of Yahoo! services comes up in that app, you have to select "More Sites" to find the Calendar listed.
After several unsuccessful tries signing in to the Calendar, receiving messages that the site was not available, it finally worked. Unfortunately, as has been observed elsewhere on this forum, this is a pitiful Calendar app with no month-long matrix available. Furthermore, it is awkward and difficult to change from week to week for the purpose of viewing a week or entering events. I don't understand how this can be. My iPod Touch has a wonderful Yahoo! Calendar app with a month-long calendar page showing all at once. It syncs with the Yahoo! Calendar I use from my PC.
Why, oh why, can Yahoo! not get it together? First, I couldn't get into my Yahoo! account for three days running about a month ago, and now I find that they have such a lame calendar app for Android phones. New Yahoo! CEO urgently needed!
BTW-- Does anyone know how to get the Yahoo! Calendar to be a widget on the Android home screen?
