I performed a Nandroid backup of Dark Revenge a couple of times now and for some reason my calendar app is not being installed. Its missing. Can somebody post an apk or zip of the calendar app? Thanks. Either that or I need to install gapps? Not sure since this is a tw rom. Suggestions?

The stock calandar app? I never used it, I bought an agenda widget that keeps track of all that stuff via email address. Its really nice because one app will keep track of all that stuff through all my accounts.

Ill see if I can fetch it off my phone. I'm not sure how to do that, but it cant be that hard right? Make a copy of the .apk on my SD card and copy it to my computer? I wouldnt be able to get it to for a couple hours though, I'm in school and don't have the samsung drivers on these computers. Sorry.

Thanks. Please remind me what I do with the apk now that I have it. I forgot. Been a while. :)

Copy to your SD card then with a root file explorer move it to the /system/app folder then reboot.

Didn't work. I even clicked on it to install via app manager and nothing. Its in the right folder. Man, this is frustrating. Wonder what the issue is?

The install option when clicking on an apk tries to put it in the /data/app directory which is why it will fail. If you manually move it to /system/app then reboot what happens?

Nothing. Its in the folder but the app isn't in my drawer.

Oh my mistake. I just noticed you're still on DJ05. The calendar I gave ya is for 2.2+. Go download a stock DJ05 rom and in the zip extract the calendar.apk from it's system/app folder and use that instead. I don't have any system dumps on my PC older than DL30 right now. Or you can always upgrade to SC 2.9.2 :p

No, I'm on froyo. Using the Dark Revenge Rom. I don't know what the deal is.

Possibly a database issue then. Go into your /dbdata/databases folder and delete the com.android.calendar folder. Also try getting the newest CWM (the one that was released today) and wipe cache partition, dalvik cache, and fix permissions for good measure.

Thanks for the help. I just installed SC 2.9.2 and things were resolved. I still don't understand what happened with calendar under the other Rom. You're probably right though. I'm sure it was a database issue. I may try reinstalling Dark Revenge soon and see what happens. Thanks again.
