Can't this also be done via Clockwork?
In Advanced go to Wipe Battery Stats
This all does the same thing right?
I might be wrong, but I think that even with the wipe option you need to 1) the wipe once the battery is fully charged and "bumped" 2) let it fully died and 3) full recharge in order to get the calibration set. You are wiping the stats, but you would still need to go though a full discharge and charge cycle so that the phone builds the new battery stats file properly. Thanks, rugbyua9. That's also what I was thinking. If they are the same thing, why jump through all the hoops?

Good to know! Next time I flash the phone I'll go this route...the less commands I have to type the betterYes you fully charge the battery with a bump charge. Boot into recovery clear out the batt stats. Start up the phone. Kill it. Charge fully with the phone off. Go at it once again. Then it should do what it's going to do.
You should try setting up the "Off Screen" profile. It really helpsI did this with my phone and i am on 20h 13m @ 43 percent life. I also got a 1750 battery in there before i couldnt get 20 hrs at all. This works great. I also have the CPU set to ondemand. and ATK every 30 min shutting stuff off.
Yeah use the Off Screen profile, and uninstall ATK it hurts more than helps more often than not.
Yep, that goes more in line with what was reported here:Stand corrected...
I went through this process again. Minor change: I deleted the file, turned off the device, and bump charged in again. Also, instead of bringing the battery down to 5% and turning it off to charge, I let the battery die where they phone turned itself off and fully charged, bumped again.
I have the 3500 and am at 38Hrs uptime with 20% left. Killer.

After you select "Delete Battery stats" you should see a list with a bunch of No's and one Yes referring to actually doing the deletion. Once you select that one yes, it will do the battery stat delete. I've tried both methods 1) deleting the file through the clockwork recovery menu 2) Deleting the file from my computer using adb (as explained in the link I posted in my previous post). Regardless which method I pick, it didn't fixed my fast 100-93% battery drop. I still have to do the charge bump. Hope it works for you.I did this but after selecting delete battery stats the screen just went blank (besides clockwork script on bottom) then back to recovery. It didn't say anything like "battery stats have been deleted" Did I do it right?
