I was under the impression that blocking a number through the phone's native software still allowed the caller to leave a message.
I just blocked a number and it said, "You will no longer receive calls or messages from this number," which is awesome.
Has it always been like this or has this just started? Does anyone know what the caller hears on the other end when it is blocked just through the phone's software?
If I block through my Verizon accounts page, the caller definitely knows he or she is blocked because it says the caller has dialed a restricted number or in a text that the message has failed.
So, with blocking just through the phone's software, does this also stop texts as well? I know I can blacklist through Textra, but curious just how far the phone's blocking software goes.
Thanks for any insight :-*
