I'm searching for a new phone and am currently looking at Samsung's offers. There's just one thing - as far as I remember, in the Android 7 Nougat days, call logs were limited to 500 entries on Samsung phones. Is this still true on Android 11/One UI 3.0?
If yes, which manufacturers don't limit number of call log entries? My current Huawei with Android 10/EMUI 10 doesn't have a limit, or at least has a higher limit because my current call log has well over 500 entries. Also is there a way to circumvent this limit, e.g. with an adb command or something, preferably rootless?
Edit: if this'll help, you can check the number of call logs e.g. by installing an app like SMS Backup & Restore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore) and checking the number of call logs it offers to back up.
