Caller ID picture is blurry when receiving a call

I have searched but have not found many answers. The picture looks clear when selecting and I use the biggest area possible so I don't lose much when cropping. However, when I receive a call the picture looks blurry. I have used high quality pictures to begin with but it still comes out the same. Am I missing something or is this a "feature" ? I love everything else about this phone. Thx!

un sync Google contacts then redo the pictures and that will fix it

Just remember your contacts will no longer backup then..
