First of all, let me begin by saying I know how ridiculous this sounds.
Second, yes, I've confirmed that my hand isn't covering the mic...

I've noticed that quite frequently when I hold my phone in my right hand (my dominant), callers complain they "lose me" or can't hear me.
At first I thought it was a result of a poor signal in a specific area of my house, but I've since confirmed its occurrence elsewhere.

Has anyone else had this issue?

This is actually one of the reasons that prompted me to put in a warranty replacement call on my G4. That, and data /wifi failing frequently. If you switch to speakerphone or a headset, the problem goes away. I never tried switching hands though, and I, too, do not cover the mic with my fingers. I am hoping the replacement (currently in my hand) will function as it should.

Now that you mention it, I have. I haven't noticed which hand the phone was in, but when calling people, they often told me they were losing me and the only difference was that I switched hands, but stayed in the same spot. Hmmmmm?
