Calls not being sent to watch via BT

You need to match watch SMS app (there is a setting for it on the watch) with phone's default text app. I use Google Messenger for both. But Hangout will do as well. However, if you use your phone manufacturer's default SMS app, it may not have AW version of the app and hence won't get notification.

Well, that's not helping anything. I was using Google Messenger (which is the SMS app on the Watch) and it just stopped notifying me of syncing with the watch Monday. Either connected via BT or on LTE, only Hangouts works. I'd rather use Messenger since Hangouts doesn't sync the messages I send from the watch.

Whatever you choose has to be the default SMS app on the phone. Only the default SMS app receives real time text on the phone. I have no problem with Messenger on both my Nexus 5 and HTC M9 on either my Nov edition of the watch or the new version of the watch.

When Messenger is the default on my phone it doesn't send notifications to the watch, When Hangouts is the default, iHangouts wil send notifications to the watch normally.

I'd rather use Messenger, since when I send a message from the watch via OK Google it doesn't sync in Hangouts so there are gaps in the conversation. Oddly enough Messenger will still show those texts even when it's not the default. It's not on the blocked apps list either, and I've resynced my apps.

I guess that's many different small things in Android that doesn't always work all the time.

Just wanted to thank you for this, Foxbat121.
I was giving up on my Urbane 2 and trying to return it to AT&T yesterday. Was on the phone with 3 different techs and nobody could figure this out.

My first Urbane 2 (nov '15 version) worked just fine with this, but I thought they firmware locked these things on the March '16 release version. I'm in love with my watch again. Thanks!

Can not get this working. Under settings i do not number sync and under bluetooth i do not have a play phone audio on watch. Mine is verizon watch

the only options under Cellular advanced settings is access point names and accounts. only options under accounts is Verizon ON I turned this off but nothing changed besides when i try to dial out on the watch it ask me to turn it back on before it can call

Im also having this issue. Their isn't a play audio on watch option and there isn't any options to disable numbersync either. I am not getting any notifications at all.

If you are not on AT&T network, you won't see NumberSync option. You will have to disable a similar option (number sharing or something like that) in Cellular->Advanced before you can see the 'Play phone audio' option on the BT settings.

I am going to return this to verizon. Would this work if i got the ATT version and paired it with my verizon note 5?

Yes, there are couple threads here already discuss the matter. Verizon watch is not worth the $$$ it asks for, IMO. However, make sure AT&T will sell you one first without being an AT&T customer. It is YMMV.
