Camera and lock screen issues

Hello everyone,

Since upgrading to 5.0 I've had this weird issue with the lock screen. When I turn my screen on before I even get a chance to unlock the phone the camera is up. Well not the camera but the camera loading screen is up. It gets stuck like that until I shut the screen off. It doesn't happen if I have a pattern lock or a pin luck. But I just want the slide to unlock fair. Has anyone had this issue?

Could it be that you're inadvertently touching the lower right part of the screen while you press the Power button to wake? That's where the lockscreen camera button is.

The camera loading screen comes up as soon as I hit the power button to turn the screen on. Almost as if the camera loading screen was already there when the screen was turned off last. The camera never actually loads though. I end up having to power the screen off then on again to unlock the device.

I just tried this. I'll see if this fixes the issue. To the poster that asked if I have a screen protector, no I do not. Thanks for the help. Let's see if this fixes the issue.
