Camera app on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is not working properly after update.

I bought Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 from Flipkart. I started phone with FTTH WiFi connection and it automatically got updated including Playstore apps. After every thing is finished I clicked pre-installed Camera App. It didn't respond but gave a black screen instead. After restart phone screen appeared and everything worked fine except Camera App. If I click it ,it makes screen black and it freezes. I tried Camera board app by Google. It worked but very poor quality.Shall I return this defective product or wait for software update ? Please help me.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, then select Camera. Tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Does the problem persist?
