Camera focus no longer changes colors?

Has anyone else noticed that their focus ring on the S5 camera no longer changes colors when you focus? Not green, nor red? It seems to be focusing, but there's just no visual indication that it captured the right focal point other than your best assessment of the image from your phone screen. It's not a huge deal, I guess, but just seemed weird that it was suddenly doing this. You think there's something up with my phone?

I've had my S5 since August, and it has never changed color on the focus ring. My S4 always did, and still does. Could be a carrier thing though. I'm on Verizon.
